Who is Zydeco Spice?
The Zydeco Spice, formerly known as Acadiana Zydeco, is a Professional Women’s Full Contact Tackle Football Team based out of Lafayette, Louisiana. We are part of the LARGEST Professional Women's Football League in the world; Women’s Football Alliance (WFA). Acadiana Zydeco was established in 2010 by Dr. Mia Ben, a native of Opelousas, La. Now currently owned by Dr. Mia Ben and Jacy Singleton. In 2021, Zydeco Spice was born.
We are the longest established Women’s Tackle Football Team in the Great State of Louisiana, looking to add another Championship Title to our list of accomplishments over the past 10 years and many more to come.
Our home games are played at Lafayette Christian Academy; a brand new state of the art facility that is located at 220 Portland Ave in Lafayette, La. 70507.
